
EODEC Togo
Début 2009, l’EODEC (European Oral and ental Education center) a installé un cabinet dentaire à Lomé, au Togo, l’un des plus petits pays d’Afrique, dans le cadre d’une action humanitaire.
La population togolaise compte environ 8 millions d’habitants et recense seulement 43 dentistes.
In addition, there is no university training for dentists in Togo; they are trained in Senegal.
The vast majority of the population do not have the means to pay for dental care.
The aim of EODEC's dentists is to provide dental care for orphaned and destitute children in Lomé and the surrounding villages.
